How to stop showing videos of other YouTube channels at the end of your video

YouTube is a good channel to increase your off-page presence and market your products and services to a wide segment of people using videos. YouTube provides a number of options to share your videos on a number of social media platforms. However there is one thing which you will not prefer if you are a YouTube channel owner or marketer.

YouTube by default shows related videos at the end of the video. From a general user point of view its not a bad thing as YouTube tries to show it based on the user’s preferences however as a marketer you would not like the user to view other videos.

There used to be an option earlier on YouTube where you could disable other videos at the end however that has changed. Now you cannot disable them but you can force the user to view videos from the same channel by making a minor change to the YouTube video embed code.

So if you have the YouTube embed code as follows

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/X_ZZYYxxaa" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Just add ?rel=0 at the end of the YouTube URL. So your code would change to this

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/X_ZZYYxxaa?rel=0" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

The above code should list only videos related to your channel at the end.

Hope the above helped!
